For example, a space probe called New Horizons passed close to Pluto-Eris and it saw a few signs of activity on the surface. At the same time the New Horizons team was having trouble getting a signal to its lander.
The theory has several problems. One is that it makes no sense at all. If you’re trying to explain how something came to be that big, you’d think you’d need a very big piece of evidence to support your theory. In fact, you’d need a very big piece of evidence to explain why it was that big.
Thats what the theory of the 2nd smallest planet is all about. Its title is based on the fact that the New Horizons team saw something that they thought was a very small, but it turned out to be a very large planet in the process of being born.

The moon does, but it just doesn’t have the same gravity as the sun. The only reason you could have a moon is because you had a big enough planet that could support it.
The moon does have the same gravitational pull as the sun, but it orbits the Earth at a different distance than the Earth does. It is also a lot closer to the Earth’s orbit than the Earth is to the sun. This could explain why Earth’s atmosphere is still visible, even though the moon has passed the Earth. It also explains why there are so many different types of rocks on the moon, as it is probably just the same rock that was in the Earth’s crust.
