While it is always interesting to see how our technology changes the sky, nothing could make the upcoming solar eclipse more exciting than the way it will show us the world we can’t see yet.
The eclipse is a special case because it will be a total eclipse. That is, not only will you be able to see the moon and sun through your glass, but you will also be able to see through the earth’s atmosphere. That means you can see the moon’s disk, as well as the sun’s, and we’ll be able to see the earth’s disk.
