I love the sky editor feature in Google Earth. I love the way that it allows me to see the entire world just as it is and at its best. I love to see the mountains and the clouds of the world in their entirety, and I love to see a panoramic view to my heart’s content. I’ve also been known to zoom in on the tops of mountains and the edges of clouds.
I believe it to be the most underrated Google Earth feature. The sky editor is a feature I use in all my work. The sky editor is an interactive tool that allows you to zoom in on the entire world as it is, see the peaks and the clouds in their entirety, and also display a panoramic view.

What makes it so great? Well, the sky editor is a tool for me to see things I would normally miss from Google Earth. And because it allows you to pan or zoom in on the world, you can see the peaks and the clouds as they really are.
And when you click on a mountain you will be able to see the map you are zooming in on, and you can add more information to the mountain, such as details of the peak.
The sky editor also allows you to add images to the clouds. When you start panning the clouds, you will see the sky image in the top left corner of the panning window. The zoom in to the mountain image will appear here, and then you can add details by clicking on the image. When you zoom out, the clouds will appear behind the mountain.
A similar app was previously available for Google Earth in the form of Earth Sky, but this app has the distinct advantage of being able to add maps to the clouds! This really is really cool. You can see a panning map of the world and then add details, like a mountain peak that you haven’t been able to see from the ground.
This is the first app to make it so you can add clouds to the sky right from your phone, and it’s by far the most practical of the bunch.
It’s very cool, but the downside is that the app keeps crashing. The developer also hasn’t updated the app, so there’s currently an app that only shows a static map. This app would be a great way for any avid sky gazer to add a few clouds to the skies and get a little more use out of Google’s new cloud-matching technology.
This is the first app we’ve found that allows you to add clouds to the sky in real time and use the clouds to generate a map. This is a great little tool for anyone that likes to put a little bit of effort into making the sky look better.
