The Perseid Meteor Shower will be happening on June 6-10, 2018 in the state of Ohio.
This is one of the most beautiful meteor showers you will ever see. It is so beautiful that the Perseid Meteor Shower has been nicknamed “The Milky Way of Meteor Showers.” Here’s the best part: it’s not the real Milky Way, but a simulation of the true Milky Way.
The real Milky Way of meteor showers is one of the most stunning sights in the whole world. As the sun rises, the shower streaks across the sky, and as the sun sets, streaks of light streak across the sky. There are many reasons to go to the shower, but we always say we wish we could stay home, because it is one of the most beautiful things you will ever see.
We have always been a fan of the Perseid meteor shower, because it is one of the best meteor showers in the entire world. The Perseids are actually the brightest in the sky and as you can see on the video, there are actually multiple Perseids streaming simultaneously across the sky. We just happen to come over here at this time of year, so we thought we’d get some views from the best spot in the world, the state of Ohio.
As I explained in my Periscope about this year’s Perseid meteor shower, it is one of the brightest meteor showers in the entire world. The Perseids are a very famous meteor shower because they appear to be shooting up from the Earth’s atmosphere. They appear to be shooting up from the Earth’s atmosphere into the night sky and then out over the atmosphere again. These meteor showers have been going on for a very long time.
In my video, I explain how the Perseid meteor shower works. To understand the meteor shower you have to understand how our sun is created. When the sun starts to generate energy, it causes it to explode into a plasma called a hot bubble. Now because it is hot it is also electrically charged. It is then attracted to the moon and the Earths magnetic field.
The first part of this explanation is covered in our video, but the second part is pretty obvious. Hot particles from the sun are ionized and then get accelerated as they travel through the ionized plasma they are then ejected out by the solar wind (the opposite of the way the solar wind created our local solar system.) This is called a meteoroid. The meteoroids are then captured by the Earths magnetic field and start going through the Earths atmosphere.
The meteoroids are in Earths atmosphere, so they are easily captured by Earths magnetic field. It’s not just the particles themselves that are captured. Earth’s magnetic field also captures these particles and they are accelerated to velocities where they can collide with the Earths atmosphere. This is called a meteor shower. The meteoroids are then deflected from Earths atmosphere by the Earths gravity and are then ejected into space.

The Perseids are a massive meteor shower that occur in the spring each year. However they can occur at any time of year, and in the last couple of years there have been many more sightings than usual. The Perseid meteor shower can be best seen in late spring, and in our image, we see a clear trail of the Perseid meteoroids in the sky as they are deflected from Earths atmosphere.
