With the summer season finally on its way, I thought I would share with you, perhaps for the first time in my life, a recipe for an Italian meal. I call it “leo black” because, well. It’s black in Italian.
Not only is leo black the best-ever recipe I’ve ever had, but it’s also the only recipe that is in the book.
leo black was a dish I developed after years of eating a lot of Italian food. I was having a hard time choosing what to cook for my family because Italian food was so much more than just pasta, pizza, and pizza. It was about so much more than just pizza, pasta, and pasta. I wanted to create something that was truly one thing. That you could take anywhere. That you could enjoy it at home. That you could cook it yourself.
Although it’s probably not what you think about Italian food, Leo Black is a dish that’s as American as apple pie.
Of course, I love pie. And pie is as American as apple pie. But, it’s been a while since I’ve had an apple pie and its been a while since I’ve had an Italian pie. I’ve been looking for a pie recipe that’s truly one thing, that is as American as apple pie, and I just couldn’t find one. So I decided to make it for my family, and I’m so proud that there is one.
The recipe is a simple one, but surprisingly complex. Most recipes in Italian cuisine start with a base of flour, sugar, butter, oil, and optionally some liquid. But here, I start from scratch with the following ingredients: flour, sugar, eggs, salt, and cinnamon. You can use any ingredients your heart desires, but here, I used apple juice and lemon juice.
The ingredients for this apple pie are just as important as the pie itself. The flour absorbs the sweetness of the apple and keeps it from burning, the sugar keeps it from getting too tart, the egg helps to bind the other ingredients, and the spices do the rest. It is very easy to make your own pie crust. Here is a link to some pie crust recipes.
The pie itself is delicious, but you shouldn’t eat it if you are sick, in pain, or if you need to lie down. The pie recipe requires that you first warm the pie crust in the microwave for a few seconds. In the same microwave, mix in the eggs and mix in the sugar, then place the pie crust in the pie pan and bake it for about 10 minutes. The pie crust is good for leftovers, however.
