Every time you watch a solar eclipse, you’ll see a little bit of the sun and moon aligning in the night sky. This alignment is not a new discovery. Astronomer Edwin Hubble found these alignments in 1930’s, but they were initially thought to be a product of a “cosmic egging” process where the entire universe was in the same place at the same time.
Hubble also noted a correlation between the size of these alignments and the distance of the sun and moon from the earth. And as we all know, the farther you are from the earth the larger the alignment will be.
The fact is that the planets align in the night sky all the time, but it’s an average of about every two weeks. As we all know, that’s when the earth and moon are closest together.
This is a good example of the cosmic egging process. The earth is in one place, but the moon is in another. So, we align the earth and the moon, giving us a good vantage point over both. Then, we align the sun and the moon, giving us a good vantage point over both. Then, we align the earth, giving us a good vantage point over both.
This is why, when we see the sun and moon in the night sky, its always the same time. That’s why when we see the earth in the night sky, it always always aligns with the sun, and when we see the moon, it always aligns with the sun, and when we see the sun, it always aligns with the moon.

If you’re like me (or more like me) then you have no idea how often the planets align. This can be a bit of a mystery. The best explanation I’ve found is: If you think about all the planets orbiting the sun and how all the planets orbit the sun, you can pretty much deduce that the sun always aligns with each planet at the same time. This is, of course, just for our earth.
I think the best explanation Ive found is that everything in our world is connected in some way and its just how our minds perceive this that makes it look like we have a problem. From the viewpoint of our planet earth, it is a very odd thing. Even things that look very different from each other in our world can be thought of as being connected in some way.
How do you know? Well, the fact that the moon and earth are almost the same size is one thing that is pretty obvious. The fact that they are both made of the same metal is another. The fact that they have a planet is another. Even a rock doesn’t have to be really big to be thought of as being connected to something else.
And that makes it a lot easier to understand why the Moon and Earth are so similar as being planets. The fact that they are the size of our planet and made of the same metal is pretty easy to understand. The fact that they have a planet, though, is not. This means that when the two planets align, it seems to be a sort of universal “aha!” moment.
