A dark horse nebula, is a nebula that appears in the night sky when the Sun is obscured. When the Sun is obscured this type of nebula is called an occult nebula or a dark nebula. Occult nebulae are also called dark nebulae or dark stars. Dark nebulae have the appearance of the dark sky but are not seen in the daytime. Occult nebulae are also called dark stars or dark stars of the night.
We recently had the pleasure of meeting up with Dark Horse’s artist, Josh Sallis, at the Star Wars Celebration and he showed us some awesome artwork for the game.
