Well, I do think that it is, but I also think that the effect is really weak, and you might have to look directly at it rather than just being able to see it with your naked eye. The way I see it, it’s like a light in a dark room. I can definitely see it when I’m in a dark room.

The thing is, your eyes do not actually see the stars as being in the same place as the rest of the universe. The same way you can’t see a ball of light as being in the same place as a dark room.
